Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream (No Machine)

Homemade, creamy, eggless, straightforward and yet delicious chocolate ice cream! A rich 3-ingredient chocolate ice cream that doesn’t require an Ice cream machine and it can become your favorite frozen dessert.

The classic Chocolate ice cream is usually prepared with yolks, milk, cream, cocoa, and glucose syrup.

Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream

This tasty frozen food was inspired by other simple 3 -ingredient recipes that a very popular in this period of lockdown.
A soft, creamy frozen delight that you can easily make at home without any special equipment.

You can prepare this ice cream in two ways: With Dark chocolate (Plain Chocolate-/Bittersweet) or Cocoa powder.

Dark Chocolate Ice cream

Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Place a large glass bowl in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
  • Cut and melt the dark chocolate (70%) (Bittersweet/plain chocolate) in the microwave for 30 seconds then take the bowl out and give it a stir.
  • Repeat the process until the chocolate has melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • Remove the bowl from the freezer and add the pre-chilled heavy cream.
  •  Beat the cream on medium-high speed until medium peaks.
  • Combine the melted chocolate and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Fold 1/4 of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  • Fold the rest of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until smooth and combined.
  • Pour into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours.
    OPTIONAL Add your favorite topping.

  • 270 g (9,5 oz) Dark chocolate (70%)
  • 390 g (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed milk (1 Can)
  • 500 ml (2 cups + 2 Tbsp) Heavy Cream

Instructions

How to: Ice Cream:

  1. Place a large glass bowl in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

Cocoa Powder Ice cream

Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Place a large glass bowl in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove the bowl from the freezer and add the heavy whipping cream that should be pre-chilled.
  • Beat the cream on medium-high speed until soft peak than combine the unsweetened cacao powder and sweetened condensed milk until well incorporate and smooth.
  • Pour into a loaf pan or another container and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours.
    OPTIONAL Add your favorite topping.
